Flanged Slurry Knife Gate Valve

The Flanged Slurry Knife Gate Valve is a true bi-directional gate valve. The rubber sleeves are designed to withstand the harsh abrasive duty within the mining and milling industry. Isolation is provided by the gate passing through the sleeves in such a manner that any solids that could potentially clog or jam the blade are pushed out into the atmosphere through the bottom of the valve housing.

Advantages of Rubber sleeves

Designed specifically for heavy-duty slurry applications, the sleeves are easily replaced in the field, prolonging valve working life. Sleeves provide 100% bubble-tight seal and rely on the sleeves to seal. The sleeves are bi-directional and have an internal stiffening ring.

The valve is suited for mining and mineral processing, power generation, sand/gravel, chemical & soda ash, pulp & paper, environmental & effluent, dry feeds, and powders.
