A New Chapter at Abrasive Flow Solutions!

Gavin’s impressive career in engineering saw him excel in various leadership roles and even run his own successful business, Oscillating Systems Technology (OST). Acquired by Invicta Holdings in 2005, Gavin went on to hold key positions like: 

• Director (Divisional) at Bearing Man Group (BMG), leading their mergers and acquisitions team. 
• Instrumental figure in BMG’s Simplify for Success (S4S) strategy. 
• Director of BMG’s Engineering Division. 
• Managing Director of BMG in September 2016. 
• Executive Director of Invicta Holdings from September 2017. 
• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Invicta Holdings Engineering Solutions Group (ESG) until March 2023. 

After a well-deserved retirement as a consultant for Invicta Holdings in February 2024, Gavin took a bold step forward. He acquired a 51% stake in Abrasive Flow Solutions on August 1, 2024, and is now officially the company’s CEO. 

What does this mean for AFS? 

Under Gavin’s leadership, AFS will continue to design and manufacture top-quality valves in South Africa for the Global : 

• Mining 
• Process 
• Water & Waste markets
